How can I lose 10 kg in 2 weeks, with little or no exercise?

That’s a lot of weight to lose in 14 days!

You could just spend a couple hours in the sauna while wearing a sweat suit ,which I have done to win a weight loss bet the night before! Though you chance possibly having a heat stroke so I honestly can’t recommend that.

All joking aside though, you’re in luck about wanting to do it with little to no exercise because weight loss starts and ends, for the most part, in the kitchen. Don’t debate me on that because you have the odds stacked against you on winning. Mostly.

I’ll give you my own personal experiences with weight loss and what has worked for me, minus the sauna experience!

Right up front you need to understand that for this to be successful or have the best chance at being successful you have to really, and I mean really, watch what you eat!

That is paramount.

So now that I’ve stressed the importance of every spoonful or sporkful of food you ingest being accounted for, we can address that very unit of energy that helps keep us alive: The Calorie.

Yes, every calorie over the next two weeks you will need to keep track of with a good calorie counting app! Just check your local App Store and download a popular good rated one and start tracking. Also, it’d be important if this app tracked calories burned through daily activities as well.

Now that we can keep track of those sporkfuls of food, and calories burned with those long walks on the beach, we need to find out what your BMR ( Basal Metabolic rate) is. This will tell us how many calories your body burns if you literally slept for 24 hrs a day. A life some on this earth basically do on a day to day basis. We all know atleast one person.

Anyways, this time you won’t have to download another app though and it’ll just be a simple one time through calculation! Just find your local BMR calculator online, preferably a good rated one, and punch in your numbers and remember your number.

That’s an important number!

Now that we have your BMR and a calorie counting app, that keeps track of your activities, you can make the magic happen: weight loss.

You’ll ideally wanna shoot for a deficit (aka burning more than you need) of 500 calories but we’re pressed for time so I’d say let’s jump that up to 1500! Here’s a little something for you number crunching lovers out there.

A pound of fat is 3500 calories. Yes, I know for some of you that was your “I learn something new everyday” moment. I’m glad I could be a part of that moment.

Now let’s say you’re at a deficit of 1500 calories and we do this for 14 days. Well 1500 x 14 = 21,000 calories, which we’ll divide by 35,000 and we’ll get 6.

A whooping 6 pounds of pure fat!

“That’s it?”, is a quote from most of you after reading that. After all that calorie counting and starving myself I’d be down 6 Pounds? Well let me build your confidence back up with this crazy weight loss dream of yours and mention that you will also lose water and glucose( energy stored in your muscles) as well with this fat and realistically it’d be closer to 10–12 pounds lost.

Sounds better doesn’t it? Just have to borderline starve yourself for 2 weeks and you’ll loose half the weight required of this endeavor, since 10 kg equals 22 pounds!

At this point my sauna idea doesn’t look too bad, huh? I still in good conscious can’t recommend that method and I have a hard time recommending this one because you will suffer big time!

I will give you a better long term alternative that will have everyone else around you thanking me for because you won’t be tearing them apart from your horomonal foodless mood swings from starving yourself.

Let’s say you are at a normal deficit of 600 calories and wanted to lose 10 kg (aka 22 pounds). Let’s also say you do this for 90 days. A solid 3 months.

90 x 500 equals 54,000 calories divided by 3500 you get 15.42. Basically 15.5 lbs of fat lost. That’s not accounting for the water weight and glucose lost, which would bring us to a modest 20–22 pounds of weight loss

Boom. 10kg a.k.a 22 pounds weight loss goal achieved.

In a much healthier manner I must admit! Just took 90 days too and you didn’t stop functioning along the way like the other faster method, which would’ve had you curled up in a ball in the corner of the room staring at that cookie across the room by the middle of the 4th day. Yes, I’m sure some of you think you have more willpower than that but trust me, I’ve been there and that cookie not being consumed in one bite is one of the hardest moments of self control I’ve ever had to muster!

Otherwise there you go folks!

To answer your question though, yes, technically you can but it’d take even more of an extreme daily caloric deficit than 1500! And the sauna idea is just water weight lost anyways! I don’t recommend them though!

I recommend the 90 day weight loss 100%!

I guess you could also get liposuction.

Good luck on your weight loss journey!
